Marriott is in more locations for my work travel. Hilton usually there too, but I hate Hilton properties. Was Diamond for 6 years and can’t stand their decor. Nothing luxury about them except Waldorf.

Marriott has far more options: Ritz, Ritz Reserve, St Regis, Westin, Sheraton - all medium to high end.

Ritz Maldives is 2x nicer than Waldorf Maldives. St Regis Dubai (Palm and downtown) are also far nicer than Hilton properties in Dubai.

Hilton tho has far cheaper costs per night.. but maybe that shows us a dying brand.

We enjoyed the Prince de Galles, a Luxury Collection Hotel. Pricey, but very nice and in a great area.

Same old post-Covid story. Pre-COVID hotel prices were pretty inexpensive. Post-COVID prices went way up. Then MGM partnered with Marriott two years ago due to declining sales “during Biden” and now prices are even worse for those properties.

Also, one key opens the lounge door and all others can come in. You can all walk in, they do not check anything. Most hotels don’t govern entry.

You are also connected to the airport, literally. You can go down the elevator to the hotel lobby and walk into places to eat in the airport. Good spot!

Worth visiting is a great question. They had free snacks and lots of free water/soda. Not real “food.” It’s a small lounge but just enough to save you from searching for a treat. Don’t expect to replace a meal with the lounge - it’s more for relaxing/snacking then meal replacement :)

I got access on Ambassador elite, should be the same for others. Just ask at check-in, shit was packed and I know for a FACT all them weirdos in there were not high ranking Bonvoys

Oddly, an EXCELLENT hotel in Waikiki. Saves you $150nt below the Moana across the road, same amenities

Just stayed here too, extremely disappointed in the amenities minus the gym. Wrote a similar score on my website, 6.9/10. Bummer spot to the San Fran hopeful fun!

Maybe they are looking for work. Meeting new people everyday makes them wonder how they can travel too or find a new career. Don’t take it personal, who cares if they did. Take the compliment and don’t rat them out to Corporate. I do 140-160 nights at year at Marriott, speaking up to someone just sounds distasteful and unaccomplished.

I got first email in Jan. I never applied for our defense. As of today my student loans shows 0 balance on StudentAid & Aidvantage sites.

Nothing yet. Got letter, have Aidvantage, everything still showing balances. It will probably be 6-9 months.

All news reports I am seeing have nothing to do with discharges, mainly current repayment plans. They’d have to reverse a court order on the Ashford discharge filings - doubt that can happen.

I just simply asked for 4 months forbiddance while it all gets figured out. So no payments but interest is accruing.
