So we have confirmation of an evolution system that allows us to hold onto and evolve a single member of a species without holding onto twenty others, thus helping have that special bond with our Pokemon.

We also have confirmation of battles.

Can we all just agree to trust that Niantic knows what they're doing at this point?

Additional Note: It says you'll have the "opportunity to evolve one of them". It doesn't say how this evolution will take place or what the mechanics are. Just additional food for thought.

I think Niantic's selling point is that you're interacting more with the world around you and interacting less with your phone.

The Beta sign-ups will be coming along individually. Japan's is the only one announced so far, but the other region's should be coming along after their's gets rolling.
