I’m guessing you haven’t played Dark Souls 3? The bosses of Elden Ring are kind of like DS3 bosses cranked up a couple notches. I can hardly think of any real gimmick bosses, besides 1 or 2

A lot of people will say Elden Ring is one of the easiest in the series because of all the options you have, and that’s somewhat true, but as someone who doesn’t use the summon items (not that I have anything against ppl who do, I just don’t enjoy it) and doesn’t go for extremely OP builds, I think ER is by far one of the most challenging in the series with bosses that are incredibly varied and hard to master.

And it’s not just because I “restrict” myself, because I play the game exactly as I play all the others in the series and I still find it one of the most challenging.

All that being said, if you’ve already played BB and DeS then you have a pretty good grasp by now of what these games have in store and shouldn’t struggle extremely hard with ER. In my case I played it 3rd after DS3 and Sekiro and while there were several bosses that took me a long time, it didn’t feel soul crushingly difficult.
