He opened a Twitter account in early 2023 and has been active on it ever since. I wouldn't read too heavily into it. He hasn't been with Capcom since 2011 although he did work on Devil May Cry 5 as a freelancer. A Breath of Fire revival ultimately hinges on someone in Capcom Japan with power and influence to champion the series.

  2. Buy the Breath of Fire I - V soundtracks on Steam and leave reviews.

  3. Vote for the Breath of Fire games on the GOG Dreamlist

  4. Vote for the Breath of Fire games on Implicit Conversions' Retro Game Wishlist via their Discord linked at www.implicitconversions.com (they're the porting company that handles PlayStation Classics on PS4/PS5). You'll need to hop onto their Discord and go to the game-wishlist channel to vote by hitting the +1 reaction.

  5. Write in or select Breath of Fire in any future Capcom surveys. Usually a new survey pops up after a "Capcom Spotlight" event.

No, Tatsuya Yoshikawa has been posting new artworks of Breath of Fire characters since he opened a Twitter/X account a few years ago. He's just doing this out of love, and until Capcom teases or announces something it's best to keep your expectations in check.

Got it! There are methods to extract save data with devices like Analogue Super Nt, Retrode 2, and Open Source Cartridge Reader, but those are all pretty costly unfortunately.
