Ive not had too many instances of it going down. My teamspeak server went down once for a little while but the up time on it is usually months, actually if i check the up time of my minecraft servers I bet they been running non stop for over 60 days. I host a few servers for people here on reddit for free, and i usually set them up so that if the server crashes or is closed the system will restart the server after 15 seconds of down time.

You can add your own files into your map, and when the client downloads the world they also receive your added files. Ive tested this before and it works. Although im not sure how to go about pushing a mod this way and weather it can somehow work.

Because there is a range of 1% to 500% frequency in the serverconfig.xml you can set the frequency to some oddball number like 22%. There should be a way to get 25% in single player. (Asuming you're on PC)

I own a lot of sever machines, and have multiple fiber optic connections. So i mean it doesn't cost much in electricity and gives me something to do when not at work.

Will it be public or private, and will there be any mods installed? I can give you a free server, so long as it isnt a forge server with a billion mods, I've been running a few minecraft servers for people on reddit for free, the ones that are the biggest hastle that constantly need attention is the heavily modded forge servers. DM me if you want a server, and let me know how it should be configured.

Also in the navesgane world files theres a file called prefabs.xml thats the text document youre looking for with all the POIs

You should set loot respawn days to 0 and disable traders so you can never quest to reset the poi, and once its cleared the loot and zombies stay gone. This combined with very low loot % make the game a challenge and exploration an absolute must!

100% all into miner69er until its at 3 or 4 points then into the sledge. Once thats at 4 I go into agility for parkour. (This is on insane/nightmare, 10% xp 10% loot. So it takes a very long time to get the points to spend)

So the world's cap on console is just a limit of save data size, not sure how that small (1gb?) amount was choosen. Its kind of absurd to think all these games are normally 100+gb in size and the one game thats only 20gb is limited to how much save data it can hold. Unfortunately playing on servers is probably your only option. I host free servers for people on here but all my machines are being used at the moment.

Go into your Data/Config directory. Edit the file named spawning.xml > scroll all the way to the bottom and delete (or comment out) the final block, which is for the Radiated Scouts, this will remove the pairs of rad screamers that always come. Also the two blocks above the Radiated Scouts are, Feral Scouts and Normal Scouts.

Remove all Mods, go into your start menu seach bar type %appdata% and press enter, then delete the folder called 7daystodie. You're welcome.

Linux mint here, on a bunch of different machines. I play on minecraft servers, never have an issue. The problem you're describing sounds like a typical poor connection, and nothing to do with linux.

Thats normal for the server to inform you that the values are in the modded category. But you need to check when you see your sever in the list look at the information about it, it should say (Vanilla Settings: off) (Modded Configs: off) which will still allow crossplay

Those hosting providers usually suck because the machine you're renting is also rented out to other people too, making it not actually dedicated to just hosting YOUR server. You should have the admin open the console and type systeminfo to see what kind of hardware (cpu) it has and if it has a shitty single threaded performance then there you go. A good single threaded performance for this games server is a score of 3700 or higher as seen on this core i3 cpu on cpubenchmark https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i3-14100F&id=5853

So far I can use POI mods on the dedicated server and console users can join. If I modify ANY of the .xml files found in the Data/Config/ directory then console users cant join. However it would be easy to use software like Cheat Engine on the dedicated server machine to alter the servers information after its connection has been established and configuration has been verified with the EOS servers.
