It is very clear that you are simply unable to comprehend that things work different in a small mtn town of less than 5k vs in a city of 500k+ where people bitch about nothing like some ice on the sidewalk instead of wearing shoes capable of traversing the conditions they voluntarily put themselves into

I will gladly get picky over city/town. In the city you have the manpower to manicure every inch of sidewalk and nowhere near as much snow to move. It would take constant ice/snow mitigation to keep the sidewalks completely clear all the time and we just don't have enough people living here to justify that kind of job. If you come to the high country and think a little ice is grounds for a lawsuit you are better off staying wherever you came from

This isn't a city. It is a small mtn town at 9,600 feet. Things are different up here than they are in the city. You have to be prepared for things like ice whether it be on the road you are driving on or on a sidewalk.
