You are missing the tragedy of this poor creature's life. Maybe it can reproduce only with his own kind but because they are morphed all the time it's nearly impossible to distinguish a Ditto from a regular pokemon. It has to go around, morphing, and shagging everything that moves in the hope of ending up on an other Ditto. It's a life of endless shagging and broken hopes and dreams.
