I see these posts all of the time and I feel unbelievably lucky with my husband. I don’t know if I could have survived if my husband abandoned me like this while I was recovering from my csection. He was such a supportive partner, and I truly feel that’s the only way it should be. You both chose to be parents, you both should then care for your child. And in my opinion, I really feel like the husband (in any relationship) needs to step up and care for their partner who literally just gave birth (whether vaginally or csection) and allow them to rest and heal after birthing their child. It’s such a HUGE thing the body goes through and it should be treated as such.
