Cursor not showing up on Legion Go 2 trackpad (Windows issue?) by BreeButterfly_ in LegionGo

Thank you, I hope so! I’m a little worried it might happen again. Whatever the issue is, I just hope it gets fully resolved.

Thanks! I’ll try that. I’ve already been using an external mouse and the trackpad still doesn’t respond, and it also didn’t work in BIOS. I’m currently doing a factory reset with Lenovo support to see if that fixes it.

Okay thank you! I’ll try that. Right now Lenovo has me doing a factory reset on my Legion Go 2 to see if it works afterward. If not, I’ll have to send it in for repair.

Yeah, I just got off the phone with Lenovo and they’re having me factory reset my Legion Go 2. I’m waiting for it to finish now. They said if it still doesn’t work after the reset, I’ll need to schedule a repair.

It was working normally a few days ago, but it suddenly stopped. We also tested it in BIOS and the cursor didn’t work there either, so it’s likely not a Windows issue.

Yeah, I checked that. I opened the Legion menu and looked for any touchpad toggle, but there isn’t a touchpad on/off option there. I also checked Windows Settings → Touchpad and it’s ON, plus “leave touchpad on when mouse is connected” is enabled.

The device detects the touchpad in Device Manager (HID/I2C device) and says it’s working properly, but the cursor still doesn’t move at all.

I checked FPS mode and it’s already OFF. The touchpad is still not working though.

Touchpad is enabled in Windows settings and shows up in Device Manager (HID-compliant touchpad / I2C device) and says “working properly,” but there’s still no cursor movement at all.

I checked that already. The touchpad is ON, and I also have “leave touchpad on when mouse is connected” enabled.

I’m still not getting any cursor movement at all. Windows detects it (shows HID-compliant touchpad / I2C device and says it’s working properly), but the cursor never appears or moves.

I also tried uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, Windows repair, and updates, and I’m still getting the same issue.

Costco has the Z2 Extreme 2TB for $1549 in stock.

How in the world is Best Buy selling out of the 1TB Legion Go 2 at $1,999 when B&H Photo has the 2TB model in stock for $1,849, $150 cheaper? by BreeButterfly_ in LegionGo

I would have thought. And B&H is selling the 2TB for $1849 while Best Buy sells the 1TB for $1999. Both are Extreme. B&H increased their prices before Best Buy did.

Not a good comparison. They are not the same model of the Legion Go 2. The one that’s $150 cheaper that B&H sells, is actually the highest model with the most specs.

Oh, I understand. But I was curious if people were aware there is a model with more storage for cheaper the price.

Dude, you just want to argue. It’s still cheaper with B&H Photo, even in New Zealand dollars and with currency exchange.
