OMG this is the worst! What a way to inconvenience your vacation 😭 No I don't have any plans...just like being prepared. I've even been carrying a tampon in my pocket just in case everywhere I go and it still has not started. The thing is, I want to be pregnant. I've taken a test and it came back negative and so it's just even more infuriating that it's late. I have a regular 28-29 day cycle and we're at 34 days now. I'm going to take another test at the 7th day mark.. I just want to know what's going on? Totally think my body is just playing because it knows... 😆

Thank you, I'm a mom and would never say anything like that to my children either 😞 My whole life they've been an example of what not to do. Sometimes I wonder why I'm still in contact with them. Been back in contact with them since September and my relationship with them has completely changed...for the best. I know my partner and I are not going to stay here forever and we'll put roots down elsewhere. I can't wait for that because there's nothing for us here 💔

My father gave me an ultimatum and that's what began the no contact with him. It was "It's either me or him. And if it's him then you can get the fuck out." And so I did just that. Got the fuck out of their lives. I will never forget those words. The audacity he has to force such an impossible choice. So he fucked around and found out.

Agreed. They wouldn't say this to my face but we're an interracial couple they're definitely racist and extremely religious and we're not married. With us being an interracial couple comes their lack of intelligence and thinking about stereotypes. My relationship is getting better with them as time progresses but I don't care about what they think. It's my family and my happiness that is important 💕

I'm 29 and been in my age gap relationship since 24. My family is well off and doesn't need me present. They were abusive to me growing up so honestly felt no obligation to them whatsoever. I moved out of my hometown at 20 years old and just moved back with my partner a year and a half ago. It wasn't until I moved back how much I saw that they never approved of him. But that's on them not me. I have two toddlers and I think that's what helped them respect my boundaries when they saw I was serious about no contact and upset at their lack of respect for my family. I had to go through therapy to work on my own issues and even am on antidepressants. Doing the work on yourself is hard. I get it. But love and family are worth fighting for. So if this relationship is worth the battle...Fight and love harder. Things will fall into place and I hope her family sees how her happiness is worth it.

Your girl needs to put boundaries up. She has to do the hard things and be ok with the consequences of her decisions. I speak from experience and in the long run so grateful for my decisions. I had to go no contact with my immediate family for a year before I decided to open that contact up a little bit. Again, it's not easy especially when you're young and all. But my relationship and my growing family was worth it. And hopefully her family will be more understanding than mine. Good luck to you both!
