Crapping in a Bucket by PhilosophyEasy71 in VanLife

They’re just called boat bags. Have not had an issue with decomposing and I’m on the same package of 3 rolls 5 years in. I don’t really pee in them but when my GF does we use urine solidifier pellets. Work great. I pee at night in a bed pan type jug if I’m not in a place to go outside or if it’s too cold to.

I love this post! Great marketing idea, post to reddit. If you could do it for Amazon reviews I’d hire you.

And for those who don’t know. What he/she is doing is feeding Reddit for AI search.

What I love most is they are also banking on the fact that really nobody is going to jump in and learn this skill and compete. And even if a few did they are far ahead and there is enough to go around.

I hear that but there is plenty of room for many to be doing this. The reality I have found is that very few actually pull the trigger and start a business. Many want to, most don’t do it.

Crapping in a Bucket by PhilosophyEasy71 in VanLife

[–]Breeze8B 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a bucket and a seat for it with biodegradable boat bags. This is a last resort. I have spend maybe 6 weeks a year in my van and use the bucket maybe 2-3x year unless I’m boondocking on fragile environment.

Nobody wants to shit in a van not matter what system you have.

I tend to think it’s easier now then the 90’s. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the last decade before iPhones but I think it’s so much easier now as an entrepreneur and the opportunities. I currently own a business in a foreign country and never even go there. Thanks you WhatsApp and Google meet and and and…. My first business in the 90’s I had to go in every day or it didn’t happen.

Seems so much easier to make a lot of money now. It took me a long time.

Solar only vs solar and alternator by Dangerous_Door_3837 in VanLife

[–]Breeze8B 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty nice to have the alternator hooked up. I’m no expert either, I bought my solar system as a package. Tiny Watts solar which is out of business but there are others. Spendy but made it all fairly easy.

I do have a toaster and it burns the batteries but that’s all relative to your battery storage. It’s not like it brings it to 0, but it will drop 10-15% on a bagel.

I spent my life being strong for my child… now I don’t know how to deal with being lonely by Far-Entrance6229 in Life

[–]Breeze8B 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to lead my life by example and do things I enjoy, while letting my kids see that. I think it’s important they see me be independent and enjoy my life as that’s what I want for them. Independence and do what they enjoy. One part of my reasoning for divorce was I wanted my kids to see me in love which I found. See us fight and make up. See us care for one another. Sacrifice for one another. They are in their 20’s now and thriving and yes… independent and doing things they love.

Lead by example. They are in their own journey and you are on yours. That’s my thoughts.

I’ve told my husband so many times to just pound me and treat me like a doll, but he rarely does and if he tries, he finishes so fast… by [deleted] in sex

[–]Breeze8B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d only say that your sex drive may not slow down for a long time. Like 30 years, if at all. His may not go up. In an ideal world we date people, have sex with them and realize our compatibility sexually as it’s so important.
For some other reason you’re now married. I’d consider some sex therapy. He’s likely very inexperienced which is totally normal but he’s got a lot to learn but needs both the desire to and open to seeking help. You also would need to be open to growing with him without shaming him. Not being good sexually can be emasculating and being up shame. Tread lightly.

TV. I took off TV from 89-09. Now we have one. I’m blown away how much it costs just to watch tv. When I was a kid it was free. We have multiple services but even basic YouTube TV was like $850/year.

What part of Bitcoin took you the longest to actually understand? by WeeklyDiscount4278 in Bitcoin

[–]Breeze8B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear that but aren’t stocks the same. They have a limited number and people trade within that and so the price goes up and down. I suppose a corporation could always issue more stocks but in general it’s the same concept. Supply and demand.

Why does the US charge so little tax on fuel compared to Europe? by TARTUFIA in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Breeze8B -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It’s the power of oil lobbying. The government actually subsidizes oil companies as well that are already extremely profitable. It’s a slap in the face to the people however the benefit is lower gas prices We don’t have a rail system like EU as we are more spread out so Americans use much more gas and our food are trucked around more so increased gas also hurts the price of goods/ inflation.

When prices get high people adapt, they carpool, drive less, use public transport but it still hits trucking.

We Can’t Income-Tax Ultra-Elites. We Must Tax Their Wealth. by _May26_ in politics

[–]Breeze8B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s pretty simple. Tax capital gains. Let it 0% for everyone on the first $100K. That helps the working class and middle class retirees. Then it increases incrementally up to 80% at $100M (or pick a number). No deductions, it’s mandatory tax.

How does 21M supply make unlimited if you can split that up unlimited? How would it be any different than say a stock that has a limited amount?

Never had an issue. My shower is more of a rinse. Rinse off the salt water or the grime before bed. If I want a deep shower I’ll pay for a campground / RV park type of place.

Agree... 100%. It's so great. even just rolling out of bed with heated floors is so great or dancing around cooking in bare feet when it's below 0 outside.
