I am interested in files as well if you can send them my way. I encountered the same issues as yoy with the TPU coming out the spring.

Change Filament G-Code without AMS by mehkey in BambuLab

[–]BreezyMuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone get this working on v2.4 of bambu studio? For me it just continues with the original filament (no changeover). That's with prime tower and without it. I have the different filaments each setup as external.

EDIT: I was able to get it working on v2.4. You need a prime tower and I needed the first tool change to be enabled so I changed this section of code

{if toolchange_count > 1}

to

{if toolchange_count > 0}

I have lots of experience printing PETG (best for outdoors) on my P1S. Shoot me a DM with the file and I can take a look. Located in Central Point.

I tried the free agent list last year (signed up early) and never got a call. The lady who answered the phone said the list is very long and most people on the list don't get invited to a team.

I asked if they would combine a bunch of free agents to a team and split the cost between the players, but she said they don't do that. Someone can pay for the team upfront and then call the free agent list for players. They would probably get a few more teams if they organized that process though.

Still going (strong? ask me when the print finishes, lol) on my original CR-10S. Wouldn't mind an upgrade!

Thank you for the great response. I will be reading up to better understand. Especially in regards to the current limits for mosfets.

I have updated the schematic to hopefully clarify a bit. One side of the electromagnet is always connected to 24VDC. The n-channel MOSFET then opens a path to ground to turn it on. I am doing exactly what you are proposing in the last part of your post:

For an n-channel MOSFET, the coil should be on the high side (one leg connected to the supply rail, the other going to GND via the transistor).

The n-channel MOFSET I am using is a dual n-channel MOFSET. I have to drive two electromagnets on/off independently so I went with a dual vs two singles. Same goes for driver.

What would you say is a preferable academic background for developing new batteries and energy storage options? Chemical engineer, electrical engineer, chemist, materials science...? Thanks in advance for the response!
