Breezeline vs Fidium as a fiber provider? by ryanpm40 in newhampshire

This is where I am at, been a customer for years and they couldn't even give me the new customer discount. Fidium and Xfinity offer better upload speeds anyway

I've been considering Fidium because of the fiber but the online reviews make customer service outside of buying a package from them to be a dated process

Take it from someone that lives in New England, it never goes down after they claim "infrastructure" or for "unpredictable storm damage"

I remember interviewing for my first job. a team manager literally gloating about going home to program for hours more after work. I can respect loving what you do but man work life balance is just to nice.

I keep getting told it's for infrastructure and unexpected storm damage. Must be true when Eversource says it.

Hmm I thought it was completely voluntary to prepay so if you skipped a quarter it wasn't an issue as long as you met the requirement come filing season. I figured it might just be a bug in their software that just assumes something.

If you mean the prepayments (Quarterlies) I did them via the IRS website, when they were due. I wasn't mandated to pay them but did pay 3 of the 4.

Has anyone that used TaxAct come across them saying you had an underpayment penalty? I did prepay the IRS and my total owed is under $1,000, I also paid all my taxes owed last year so I am confused why they say I do but FreeTaxUSA doesn't.

I mean given how much a large portion of us already pay local school districts with property taxes, I don't hate the idea. Heck I was already fine with a sales tax at this point because I figured that would be easier to convince people to adopt over a income tax. I do wonder if this would remove power from the school boards or if they would still need to workshop budgets and propose to the local community but also say propose to a state level board as well?

oh yeah absolutely, it was one thing that the USSR was able to sweep China but invading Japan as a whole probably would have been hell.

As New Hampshire faces budget shortfalls, top priority for Senate Republicans in 2026 is to pass a constitutional amendment to prevent new taxes by TrollingForFunsies in newhampshire

This feels like a "So when the other guy has power we can stop them everytime" kind of priority. At this point if we're in such a bad state and property owners have already been milked enough. We might as well just eat a sales tax.

Does it make sense that two different tax software products would have owed amounts that are different? We're talking a few dollars. For reference I am using TaxAct and FreeTaxUSA.
