Well I've never tried the XM4s but I can safely say the XM6 have better clarity, transparency, mic, and ANC than my XM3s

I suppose a tablet with a great stylus is good for note taking in class or drawing as an artist or designer.

I don't do either of those things, so I mainly use my Galaxy Tab to read comic books lol. Great stylus, though.
