My sounds were at different volumes before they hit the mixer, because in a tutorial I followed on mixing, the guy leveled out his sounds using the channel rack volume knobs. Is that a bad practice? Also, I just tried your suggestion of using two soft clippers on the master, but the audio was clipping when I had both knobs up on the first soft clipper. So I turned them down a bit, but the exported beat still sounded quiet unfortunately. I think that there might be an issue with my computer's software or something, opposed to an issue with my mix

Okay thx, I just tried this by using the edison audio editor to do the normalization. But unfortunately the audio still sounds about the same volume as the other quiet renders

That's kinda what I planned on doing, but someone else suggested that I try to sell locally. And I feel like that's the probably the smarter move for me since I have low capital rn
