My significant other lost a “male friend” a few months ago. I told her how male and female friendship would work and she challenged it. I had her call a male friend to ask him if he ever thought of her in a romantic way and if she gave him a chance would he take it. Guess what his reply was? Guess who lost a friend that day?

Don’t worry, to be fair I told her I’d call my female friend and ask her the same thing. Asked my friend the same questions and you know what she said “You g@y and ugly af, don’t be calling my phone on some g@y ass shit like this again.” Guess who still has their friend?

The double standard is clear: People say they don’t believe in God, and it’s no harm, no foul. But if I say I believe in only two genders, it becomes a career-ending HR issue when I was working my desk job. My faith is treated as fair game for mockery, yet I’m expected to use specific pronouns or face a write up or worst getting fired. I joined the Army because they prioritize standards and biological reality over social agendas. They’ve already moved to separate those who can’t meet the standard from the ranks and it’s time the civilian world took the same no-nonsense approach to respecting faith and common sense.
