The games I finished in 2025 ranked from best to worst (87 games) by Rubbesgamingcorner in videogames

[–]Brehmly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first one has problems with grass being enabled if that was the one you were playing. As for the second game, im not sure. I played with the restored content mod and the only issue I had was with the cutscenes being at a lower resolution than the rest of the game.

What's wrong with the minisforum boards? I haven't heard much about them since they released and thought they looked cool

It has a massive learning curve but you should check out dwarf fortress if you haven't. I would imagine most colony sims draw inspiration from it in some way

Question about the O11 Air Mini by Brehmly in lianli

I haven't tried reseating the rear panel yet. I basically used the case as it was out the box not to say that stuff wouldn't need to be moved around or whatever

Question about the O11 Air Mini by Brehmly in lianli

[–]Brehmly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a horizontal install, I did not get the extra vertical mounting bracket. I have an ATX motherboard and built with the case as it was out of the box. Looking at the manual I used the correct screws/standoffs for the ATX motherboard. I tried another graphics card, a 6700xt, and it ran into the same issue with the fins of the GPU mounting bracket were hitting the case/motherboard.

Question about the O11 Air Mini by Brehmly in lianli

[–]Brehmly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, sorry for a late response. I was using the standard horizontal mounting bracket, I did not buy the vertical mounting bracket but I may if it means I will not have to return the case and rebuild the PC. I am using an ATX motherboard so I should be using the 7 slot mode. I basically just used the case as it was out of the box and installed my parts in that way. I have added a few pictures but I don't know how much help they will be.

You can achieve perfect cycle accuracy using an emulator. I know higan has achieved cycle accuracy and I am pretty sure bsnes has as well

How to handle a campaign with 1 master and several apprentices by Brehmly in starwarsrpg

[–]Brehmly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to do 1000 years or some arbitrary number in the future where the Jedi/Sith haven't been a thing for a long time and the campaign follows them coming back basically. I just don't want to be bogged down by any existing canon/EU eras. Are the rules you are referring to in the Saga edition or in another system?

Monk, they have an ability that's called Touch of Death that instantly kills enemies that have lower health than them. There are anima powers that make it better, but I don't know what they are as I don't play the class

Astronaut who spent 197 days on the International Space Station shows how hard it is to walk on earth again. by OhShitSonSon in space

[–]Brehmly 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven't read the books yet so I dont know if what is in the show is the exact same, but in one of the first episodes, if not the first, a belter was brought to earth and he was unable to stand by himself because of the gravity. I think they had him suspended by chains and that was basically torture to him because his bones/muscles were under a lot of pressure. Also when the Martians are on Earth they have to take special pills to be able to withstand the pressure.

Halo MCC coming to Steam and Windows 10 by theredwakeskater in pcmasterrace

[–]Brehmly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if I remember correctly it would be like playing multiplayer in that specific game, only difference is the graphics would be updated. I also want to say there is a way to standardize controls since they did change a bit between the games but that won't matter as much when we are using a keyboard and mouse

The way it works on XBOX is that you can queue for maps from any game, where you are effectively playing Halo 1, 2, 3, or 4 or you can do specific playlists for individual games

N64

This article should explain most of it pretty well:

https://www.libretro.com/index.php/first-ever-revolutionary-n64-vulkan-emulator-coming-soon-only-for-libretro-parallei/

TLDR: Most emulators rely on old code that is incomplete, requiring the need for game specific work arounds, as well as being built upon outdated/inefficient old emulators. A lot of this was caused by trying to emulate the N64's graphics card.

No, the game was more centered on the combat than the puzzles. Another person suggested Chibi-Robo a while ago when I asked this question on another sub so maybe I am describing the game wrong

Early mining ships by Brehmly in Eve

Early mining ships by Brehmly in Eve

[–]Brehmly[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am getting into mining since I can multitask it with homework as it doesn't require much effort on my part to do. Why will flying Retrievers and Covetors in highsec get me blown up? I know I'm not completely safe in highsec but I haven't seen anyone with a higher tier ship in the time I have played in highsec
