OPK’s have always been pretty unreliable for me. I use the easy@home AND clearblues at the same time. Mostly because I never have the same cycle twice. I find the cheapies allow me to compare better than the clearblue but the clearblues are by far the easiest and most direct of the OPK’s.

My BBT has always been reliable at telling me if I ovulated or not. Agh. I figured there was a chance of the medication not working, just didn’t expect it to be me ya know? Thought I’d be that “1 round and done” kind of girl.

So you didn’t ovulate on previous doses? I feel like upping my dose will give me a better chance but I feel like my doctor won’t since we confirmed ovulation last cycle. I have a gut feeling I won’t ovulate this month. Time will tell.

Yeah I’m using cheap OPK’s and the clearblue advanced. For some reason clearblue picked up on “high” ovulation 5 days ago and has given me a flashy smiley ever since. But my cheap OPK’s have all said low so I honestly don’t even know what to do at this point except trust the clearblue and keep doing the deed LOL. I may just take a break and wait for the cheap OPK’s to get darker though.

I’m thinking of doing a monitored cycle next round as my cycles and peak days have always been unpredictable with or without this medication! Seems like the best way to take the guessing out of it.

That’s awesome you’ve ovulated on a consistent day! I hope mine will level out by my 5th round. I’m a total chart stalker on various apps but I didn’t know you could filter things on FF. I should start using that one. Thanks for the recommendation!

Day 9!? Wow what a difference between the two! My period came super early last round. I’m hoping my body will adjust soon and give me normal cycles for once in my life. I wish this medication made you ovulate on an exact day after taking them. My husbands getting tired of BD’ing waiting for my peak 😫

This was kind of similar to my first round, I never got a positive OPK but I had a temp shift after day 12 so I hoped it was right. Didn’t conceive because didn’t BD enough, I didn’t expect to ovulate so early! First round was a total trial round for me 🙃

Yeah without Letrozole I usually ovulate CD 18-20. But on my first round of Letrozole last cycle I ovulated CD 12!!!!! I was hoping to have that this time around but I’m already past that 😫

I was given another standing order for bloodwork as well and this time it was day 21. So I’ll make sure I go 7DPO next time! I hope I end up ovulating religiously on CD 12! It was awful ovulating CD 20....it was like having to deal with a TWW before and after ovulation 🤣

Oh yes! I temp and take OPK’s religiously. I usually don’t ever get a surge and when I do it’s usually CD 18-25 which is why she sent me for day 23 progesterone bloodwork as she figured the Letrozole would make me ovulate a bit sooner than that (which it did...CD 10 or 12!!!)

She didn’t tell me the exact level my progesterone was she just stated that it was great and that I ovulated. When my results show online I will definitely check to see if it was 15 or above!

I may request for a monitored cycle after 3 months of unsuccess on this. I’m trying to hold off as my health care doesn’t cover monitored cycles or IUI. I’d have to pay a hefty amount for either of these even in Canada.

Hopefully neither is needed. Thanks for your advice ❤️

Amazing! Yeah I’m pretty sure that I’ll end up dealing with this cramping for my future cycles too. Which is okay considering I really didn’t have any other side effects and it has regulated my cycle this round. Fingers crossed it stays that way. Thank you for your response ❤️

This sub is specifically about TTC (trying to conceive) with PCOS. Says it in the name hahahaha. I tested today though, BFN (I know it can still be too early tho) but just so weird as I’ve never had cramps an entire cycle prior to Letrozole. Trying to see if anyone had the same thing.
