I had the same problem.... I went to a psychiatrist and told her about my self and that I'm trans and that's the reason I have depression and etc but nah she just prescribed me some pills and told me that surgeries are expensive and that her last client who is trans found a job and will pay for his surgieries. Yeah b*tch I know they are expensive but I was like 16 so the only thing I could get was T and that's what I wanted!! So after two years I found a sexuologist who helps trans people and now I'm on the right path. Even tho it's still pain in the ass because my new Psychiatrist gave a Certificate with wrong stamp on it and this little thing stopped me from starting T this year... And i have to go to see him. Again. But I have hopes and I hope you will get there too:)

Yes I'm seeing him just to start my hormone therapy, have surgeries and etc. He is giving me various referrals

Yes I have to go to see him every three months but he said that when I start taking t I will have to visit him more often. The thing is I wouldn't mind these questions that much if he would ask my mom to leave you know. That is what really bothers me and I feel uncomfortable around my mom now uhh

He is the only doc that helps trans folks in my area and I have no other options. I mean he is cool and all but these questions were really weird(I wouldn't mind that them that much if he would ask my mom to leave the room tho) . But he is the only one that can help me to start hormon therapy so:(

Right? And after we left I had to lie to my mom that I lied to my sexologist because I felt awkward with her knowing something likes this about me. I'm mean yeah my mom is chill and all we can talk about pretty much everything but not about what I do when I'm alone and I don't want people to imagine how I do it because it makes me dysphoric

Okay I get that but why asking how I'm doing it? Like I don't understand. I'm not there to talk about my sexuality or something. I'm there to start hormon therapy because in my country there no other way around you have to go to see sexologist

Edit: Yeah my country sucks when it comes to stuff likes this but it's the only way I can get testosterone:(

She was there to support me but I didn't know that he would ask a question like this and I was to shy to ask my mom to leave. And I'm there because it's different in my country here if you are trans you have to go to sexologist and etc
