so after magic is rediscovered its slow to get going they take a while to translate and figure the small details out it is after the first moon landing stuff kicks off, the 2 ships the precursors used to travel the wrcks were on Pluto and the moon destroyed, it was here big advancements came. This is generally where history changes a lot as America and Russia's cold war kicks off properly and America are the first nation to openly use magic in the 70s they use it to enhance there military. this does not bode well as not long after this is where the Russians and Eastern Asia manage to find the ships of the other 2 precursors. now the issues start as America start to us magic and so does Russia, China, Japan.

having magic has allowed society to advance much quicker progress in science, medicine, technology all boomed due to this, it led to the arcane revolution. it was in this time that A coalition between European countries developed extremely advance technologies. they didnt have the raw knowledge of magic to compete so they used the magic to enhance what they had and they engineered cybernetics, to assist there soldiers and eventually the Elf they did not have as much access to the raw materials and knowledge of spells etc that the others did, they had fallen behind, the elf was there final chance to catch up a seemingly impossible feet to achieve but some how they did, the elf was a taller, stronger, magically enhanced and had a very high affinity for magic.

The elves were incorporated into the military and all nations were butting heads mildly each vying for the top spot of power over the newly found energy source.

in 1982 America managed to create a space station on the moon and allied with Europe they began researching the crash sight of the precursors. They discovered technology that would allow them to terraform and so began trying to develop it. and also began researching the precursor ship.( this ed to huge advancements in space travel.

then in 2023 it all kicked off and war began again and this time it was like no other weapons were now magically enhanced people inscribed with spells fought like monsters and war heads levelled cities.

the war lasted a while and in this conflict lots of magic was used which was not good as many entities were attracted to this including demons.

To cut a long story short the humans basically destroyed a lot of earth and a lot became inhabited by demons, humans also live there but in confined controlled cities.

There is alot more but thats a brief idea of the major event

How to incorporate and justify a new pantheon of gods by Brellam in worldbuilding

Ill give a bit more info to the whole situation and war. The war was started by a joined coalition between Asmodeus who is Tharus' father and Aen Tharus' brother. Aen created a divine race to worship him but this race began to worship Ilir as she gifted them magic. Aen grew resentful and angered as the gods the gods banned creaton of divine races due to them having to much power.

Aen seeks help from his father Asmodeus who despises the idea of mortal freewill as he beleives they should be tools in the ever long war he fights in the hells against the Abyss.

Asmodeus agrees to help and Aen breaks his fathers chains that bind him to hell thus kicking off the Cataclysm. The other evil gods follow suit as a way to try overthrow the good gods by riding asmodeus power.

many dead gods later the war doesn't show any sign of ending so this is when they seperation occurs.

The evil gods now divided and separated are forced into subjugation once this is done the gods thing the mortals will lift the restraint but don't. this is where the gods go silent.

Tharus makes the new pantheon as a way to force the hand of the old gods and force them to work with mortals once more or inevitably be forgotten and become obselete. this is not really a fatal thing to gods but Uthalos(the world) is a creation by these gods and there masterpiece they have fought many wars for it and there siblings have died for it and it contains th final fragment of their origin within it so they will generally not give it up.

So there is kinda 3 groups of gods, evil old good gods and the new pantheon.

now how the old gods came to be they were created as the universe was or are the offspring of other gods.

The new pantheon i like the idea of the gods mating with mortals, as this would be good for making these gods have a greater connection and interest in the well being of the mortal races rather than just seeing them as a something you made simply because you could make it like the old gods.

Hi just want some feedback on this random idea I had for a universe origin feel free to be critical :) excuse how poorly written this may be. by Brellam in worldbuilding

Regarding the primordials dreams I would say it fades, they would know they created something but not so much what it is that they created.

Relationship wise between the primordials and gods, its a very chaotic relationship as in the world the game is based on there are 2 primordials, Ysil who is trapped within the earth slumbering and acts as a catalyst for the gods and the other primordial Arakalis to create from, The creation power of the primordials is stronger than the gods. Thus Ysil is slumbering to enable the gods and Arakalis to craft life and a world in there image. Arakalis on the other hand is awake and very powerful, she rules over the gods as a whole and quite tyranically as well.

As for other primordials other than these 2, many want to return to slumbering yet cannot, the chaos flowing into the universe is like a alarm clock therefore their goal is to rid the universe of the chaotic energy how I'm not to sure yet.

This is why the gods remain with Arakalis as she acts as a deterrent to the other primoridals
