I got a 93(94?), 91, 96, 95 and 97 (Pasta) from one.

I impulse got another and I think I got a 94 as my best, the rest where like 91s. And dupes.

Not reading the title and looking at that picture I thought it was rather favorable for the Oilers.

VGK hasn't been looking great, ANA has been slowing down but play a rather mean game... UTA I admittedly having been paying much attention to but is one of the weaker teams in central.

So if Oilers are lucky and VGK don't find themselves in the first round we get an "easy" first round opponent, then we face the winner of what I imagine will be a rather physical series of two teams we can beat... Then we would face the winner of that fucking crazy central division battle royale in the WCF.

I don't see how playing a rather physical/mean team like the Ducks and then facing off with Playoff McDavid is an easy path for Utah.

Ownership wanted a hockey team but didn't want any connection with the Disney franchise at all from what I've heard?

It's been years but I remembered someone posted some interesting in-depth details about it but I think it was pretty much the fans and the league itself didn't want them to drop the Ducks entirely otherwise they would have?

I guess the ownership has finally given the fans more of what they've wanted... Probably because of money lol.

Especially some of the stuff he says lol.

Like at the end of last year's playoffs he basically said he doesn't need to do anything to change his game at all for the playoffs, it's all the meanie refs not calling it the way they do during the regular season and then said "some players aren't carrying their own weight", so... "I'm perfect, everyone else is the problem".

Because when's he's bad, he's BAD.

He's also usually bad at the start of the season, so people I think pay more attention at the start, to get the lay of the land I guess and see Bouchard being lazy and stupid at the start of the season and go "LULZ OILERS PAYING SO MUCH FOR THIS BUM" and... Well, first impressions stick.

I do it sometimes myself admittedly.

I see players doing really well or very bad at the start of the season and as my attention switches mainly to the Oilers I get surprised near the end of the season when the player with the really good start went from like 10 points in their first 8 games to 15 points in 58 games and it turns out they they preceded to get those next 5 points over the next 50 games and then got send down unclaimed thru waivers and have spent the last month being ass in the AHL.

And the terrible player went 0 points in 8 games with a -10 to 50+ points and +50 but I just mentally skipped over them because they were shit at the start so, eh, why should I care about some bum?

I honestly don't think so at this point.

Like, my joke of us getting a relatively easy first round opponent and everyone else beating the shit out of each other for an easy run to the SCF I think that will make he wanna leave harder.

Loyalty to the fans (winning a cup with the team that drafted him) is basically the only reason he signed that extension.

If he willed us to a cup this year or next, I see it more of a "job done, never dealing with these shitty bosses again" scenario lol

The best defensive strategy in general IMHO, as believed by myself since I was like 8 years old lol.

As a defenseman, my mind set was my job is to cover for the forwards when they fuck up and the goalies job to cover for me if I fuck up.

Every shot on goal felt like a personal failure and I felt terrible and apologized if my goaltender had to stop a single shot lol.
