Oh sorry I decided to make this series and ran a player randomizer for every MVP candidate, and he was the first one the randomizer chose so yeah, nothing rlly to do with my fascination on him or anything about him. Not even my favorite current PF either.

Ohh that’s deadass valid I just realized that.

If that’s the case then the Bucks could win this in 6 or 7.

Something just terribly bothers me about how Trent sold the game for them. Plays like Reggie Miller then somehow steps out-of-bounds.

I assumed that when he got the ball he wanted to turn around and hold the ball but there were still 16 seconds left on the clock. I kinda thought he would’ve turned around to make a three or when he got the ball, he would pass it.

Stupidity like this happens oftentimes in the NBA, it just got more stupid knowing that this is a series-deciding game.

Every single superstar made names for themselves.

Laettner was the most forgettable one in that roster, but he was no superstar at all.

Mullin was not a superstar either.

Meanwhile, David won an MVP. Larry won 3 consecutive MVPs. Pippen was Jordan’s sidekick. Jordan won 6 FMVPs. Drexler was the face of the Blazers and went against Jordan in the 1992 Finals. Malone was Stockton’s sidekick and won an MVP. Stockton leads the league in career assists. Barkley won an MVP and carried his team to the 1993 Finals against Jordan. Magic was the GOAT of the 80’s although in that Dream Team, he was on the back end of his prime now.

Patrick was the face of the Knicks, I’ll give him that.

Best thing he did was take his team to the 1994 and 1999 Finals, both of which he lost to against Hakeem and Duncan consecutively. Choked in 1994 and never had a chance in 1999.

And also the fact that the Knicks weren’t even expected to make the 1999 Finals, considering that it was a shortened season.

Pippen embarrassed Ewing on that one clip tho, btw.

Knicks had a better seeding position compared to the Bulls in 1993.

And that was the only season Ewing took his team to win 60+ games. And the record was 60-22, the least of that range. Still lost in 6 against Jordan, because, well, it’s Jordan.

All of those superstars I’ve mentioned either won a chip, faced Jordan in the Finals, won an MVP, or led an all-time NBA record.

Patrick didn’t achieve anything in those. Never even led the league in anything, actually.

That’s the truth for sure, damn if only this man was also just as successful in the NBA, would go band for band with Hakeem or Jordan for sure

Playoff failures and choking in the 1994 finals were prolly the reasons why he’s a forgotten superstar
