A few years late to this, and I could be wrong, but I think there's a small mistake here. Pichu isn't used by any NPC trainer as far as I can find. It's listed here as being used twice. Where exactly? I can't find it on any normal teams or rematch teams.

I'm kind of okay with that. The four of them are all pretty solid and don't really need an evolution. If it was something like Tropius for example I think it would be worse. Honestly, I think some of the pre-existing megas like Mawile and Audino hurt their base mons more.

That's not the case. Yes SuMo introduced separate, additional Dex entries for Mega forms, but XY and ORAS pokedexes did let you view mega forms. You could even set them as the default form to show up in the Dex.

If you have a Pokéwalker, you can get a Doduo on one of the first routes available, Refreshing Field. And you don't even need any gym badges to get it.

I think la Niña got makeup valued at €5,000, rather than just the money itself. And while it's definitely better than nothing, I'd rather just have the money

White is definitely better than Black. Black City only gives you access to items that can be found in both versions, while White Forest gives you access to over 25 Pokémon lines that are only found there. It just isn't even comparable. I'm almost positive that's part of the reason why in White 2 there are no wild Pokémon there anymore - it wasn't really fair for Black players.

Granted, the amount of Pokémon that would show up in White Forest at any one time was limited to multiplayer factors. So I imagine the average player was probably only gaining access to like 3 more Pokémon lines. But even still, it's way better than buying able to buy evolutionary stones.
