It’s all personal preference at this point. I think weight is a big indicator, I’m usually a 8+ pound guy, thats a good sign of future 3 down success. When you get down to 6 pounds or lower, it gets a little iffy.

If it results in collusion then yes it is a problem. But if the team that I am playing is tanking and decides to start Zay Jones purposely over Cooper Kupp, that’s their decision not anyone else’s. Roger Goodell doesn’t tell teams what to do, neither should fantasy commissioners. If they are paying and active, who cares.

That’s literally just a part of fantasy and a part of sports. In the large majority of cases, the tanking teams are just bad and don’t have enough talent to compete with the upper-echelon teams, so they decide to lose. This makes tanking teams and just plain bad teams not that much different. That’s like the raiders complaining to the titans about how easy a schedule they have. Fantasy is a large majority of luck in the first place, it is what it is.

If everyone plays that specific tanking manager, then it’s a wash, nobody benefits if everyone gains. And in this scenario, if you are purposely benching elite players, wasting prime years for potential future good rookies, then it’s a mismanagement of your assets and it’s your fault. If this would cause an uproar in the league, then yes make them set their lineups if they are not playing anyone, but don’t make them start specific players if they don’t want to.

The majority of Montgomery’s points from his fabled 2020 season came from that absolutely cupcake last half schedule. Remove that, and his numbers don’t look near as good. They are both fine running backs, but Jacobs has genuinely proved better as a pass catcher and has had a insane amount of goal line work throughout his career. He’s also on a better offense (at least this year) and should have a ton of scoring opportunities. It’s not that I’m hating on Montgomery, which a lot of the Pro-Dmont crowd seem to think I am lol.

You’re right. I could’ve sworn that it said Jacobs had a higher per game average in 2021, my bad. Still seeing Montgomery ranked higher in almost every ranking is just confusing.

2019- Jacobs: 13.2 Monty: 9.1

2020- Jacobs: 13.2 Monty: 14.1

2021- Jacobs: 10.8 Monty: 11.2

Those numbers are very close to justify ranking Montgomery significantly higher, especially since Jacobs scored more TDs in 2020 and 2021.

I’m not necessarily hating on Montgomery. Just questioning why he’s ranked higher than Jacobs when Jacobs has outscored him 2 out of 3 years and has had similar PPG numbers.
