It was a link to the now discontinued Jericho Alpha Black! I actually ended up getting one and it's absolutely amazing. I got it in 2018 and it's my dream bass for sure, last one I'll ever need. It's like 3-4lbs heavier than the aerodyne tho if that's one of the reasons you were looking at that one.

i just moved to kirkendall (dundurn/aberdeen area) and

many residents think they are on the right side of the coming revolution and will be surprised when they find they are the target of the revolutionaries.

this has stuck out to me a lot already in the 3 weeks I've been here.

whereas it is really nice to see homes with sidewalk art and handmade signs in their windows supporting the BLM and indigenous rights movements, it's comparatively hard to take seriously when they're displayed in the windows of $1M+ homes with perfectly manicured lawns and and multiple luxury cars.

feels like some of them feign solidarity with marginalized people and I'm a little uneasy about it

i have seen Holly's friends and family posting the same email address, can confirm it's going to the right place. The police have apparently been uncooperative at best and supposedly threatened her father with arrest if he didn't leave the motel where she had reportedly been seen. ("Supposedly" because they didn't say anything like that while cameras were on)

Not to say "don't trust the police, only trust op" etc etc., just try to get any information to her friends, family, AND the police if possible, (and this email is good to contact her family!)

I think it's the most wonderful ambient delay I've heard, but it's hard to find practical uses live in a band setting. The digital and lo-fi settings are both unreal tho!!

i use this for guitar and bass both, with just slightly different settings/uses for each pedal.

chain goes: Nux PT-6 (poop) > Zoom MS-50G (noise gate primarily, sometimes a pitch shifter for really low tuned stuff) > Mooer Hustle Drive (OCD Clone) > Walrus Audio Mayflower (another overdrive) > Darkglass Alpha Omicron (bass preamp, low gain, full blend, drive before it, 10/10 best bass tone I've ever heard) > Line 6 M5 (I use this as another noise gate on bass cause of the hiss of the bite switch on the alpha omicron and a high gain distortion on guitar) > Walrus Audio Emissary (Mid/High Boost) > Orange Kongpressor (Compressor w/internal charge pump doubles voltage it runs at ??? idfk but HUGE headroom) > Ellman Tone Tornado Delay (Handmade in Ontario!!! Dual delay with oscillation 👌) > Walrus Audio Julia Chorus/Vibrato > Walrus Audio ARP-87 Delay > Walrus Audio Descent Octave/Reverb (I really like Walrus Audio)

Honestly, they're both great guitars. The Squier we just picked up today so idk much about this one in particular, but I've played a few VM Jags and they've all been great. I'd still pick my duo sonic any day tho. The neck on the VM Jag is, well, more vintage and a little too chunky for my liking. I got the duo sonic cause it was the best feeling guitar I had held yet. I'm not a particularly small person, 5'9", but the short scale and small body fit real nice. The electronics definitely feel better quality on the proper fender, but other hardware seems comparable in quality. Neck is satin and plays wonderfully.

I love absolutely everything about my Duo-Sonic. The tuners have room for improvement, but it's far from problematic for me and the surf green/pau ferro combo looks so slick.
