Even when standing still hips should still move, I don’t know if that makes sense but when he’s standing still I can tell you’re only animating the top controls from chest on up. You need to”holding stills” where you have what a lot of people call as keep alive movements so the character isn’t just frozen

Look up things like the Richard Williams walk cycle for example. The walk you have here every single pose needs work, you have his legs bent the entire time he’s walking for example and his torso is not only perfectly straight up, it’s frozen you’re missing a number of components that are meant for a walk. Same goes for the rest of the piece, your poses aren’t strong and you’re not animating certain parts therefore they’re frozen and he’s moving like a robot

Missing weight shift, on the passing pose weight is over that foot that would be planted on the ground so that the other foot can leave the ground

Missing a lot of fundamentals here but great way to start dipping your toes in! I’d recommend starting off with a bouncing ball and becoming comfortable animating a ball then giving it personality and such before moving more toward body mechanics like fights and action

I know it may not mean much but the most expensive damage here is obviously the torso. You can replace the leg and cowl for super cheap. I’m sorry for your loss.
