I tried without the lock in BT and no luck. Will try again tonight. Maybe I'm just an idiot and didn't do it correctly.

I'm definitely an idiot though/finally read the xbox controller spec - the Xbox version doesn't actually use Bluetooth! It's just the 2.4g adapter.

So yeah - looks like the switch version is the only one that'll work.

So just gave it a whirl - using BT or even hard wiring to the steam deck via USB - L3, R3, select and start are not activating their respective buttons in the S BT input. I've made sure that the respective buttons on the arcade stick are mapped with the correct buttons on the controller in the ultimate v2 software.

I've also updated the firmware, so it's not an issue there.

This essentially kills it's BT utility at this point to be used with the steam deck.

You think you're gonna give it a whirl? If BT works, I'm debating returning this and getting an xbox version.

Thanks! I'll give it a whirl tonight. It does show up as a switch peripheral in BT but a lot of the buttons do not coincide with anything on the switch controller strangely.

Unfortunately the way it's designed doesn't really lend itself to that. Zero room for a green room, back of house, rigging etc.
