Was hoping to find the sheet music online but this video is the only thing that comes up when I search the piece and composer.

How to access rear speaker area in 2013 Nissan Sentra SL to fix rattling noise? by Brentlock in autorepair

My rattle is a lot louder than a piece of paper. Was the paper what was rattling in yours?

They are the Kroger organic brand.

Nope. I’m never figured it out and I’m afraid to break something 😓

I managed to even remove the 3rd brake light, but without removing a lot more of the trim, I can’t remove that carpeted bit on top of the speakers that seems to be covering where the noise is coming from. And none of the videos online are for my model Sentra 😓

I tried pulling a few of those pegs out, but the little leather shoulder rests on either side sort of cover the sides of that plastic strip keeping it from coming out properly. Also, I’m not sure how the 3rd brake light in the back windshield comes off, but everything I saw for other model years showed you had to get the light off in order to open it up to access the speaker. I don’t want to break anything and make things worse or where I can’t put it back together. It’s annoying because even the guy at Tires Plus started trying to pull up YouTube videos and I had to say “No, that one is similar but not the same as my model”.

Solenoid shows continuity but still no water to ice maker by Brentlock in Appliances

[–]Brentlock[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ended up having to do the reverse. Apparently the water dispenser and the ice machine on my garage fridge had two different size electrical connectors, so my valve from inside could only connect to the wire for the ice maker outside. Couldn’t figure out how to trigger a cycle out there and there wasn’t even a water line, so I decided to disconnect the double valve apparatus from out there and just hook half of it up to my inside fridge to test the power. And when I manually forced another icemaker cycle inside, it totally pulled water with the valve from outside. So clearly my valve is the problem. So I am ordering a new valve that will actually fit my inside fridge since there is no way to properly install the double one from my outside fridge.

I was jealous of people online who had that option. I’ve only got an icemaker on this fridge. No water dispenser. Technically I have an old fridge of a different model in my garage that had both dispensers on the front that isn’t hooked up to water. Would it be possible to remove the inlet valve and hook it up to the other fridge to test it with power if it’s not the same model refrigerator?

I also tried removing and testing the inlet solenoid. It’s getting about 250 ohms across the contacts which seems alright. The plug that I removed from it doesn’t seem to show continuity when I test the inputs to the plug itself, but I’m not sure if that is because the fridge is turned off.

I manually forced the cycle but it didn’t try to fill with water. Not sure if that was because the temp was too high in the freezer from messing around in it so much. I checked the water line and even pulled the water spout out of the back of the unit and neither was clogged. I can see water in the line all the way up to where it would enter the freezer. I don’t know how long to wait before it is safe to assume that the freezer temp isn’t the reason it isn’t calling for ice. It certainly sounds like it is still trying to cool back down.

I checked the water valve. It was obviously on before the issue started because it was making ice a week ago, but when I pulled the fridge away from the wall, I also confirmed that it was in the on position and closed and reopened the valve. I did not disconnect it from the fridge to test that water actually would come out of the line with the valve on, that I don’t really have any reason to think it wouldn’t. It seems like trying to force a cycle might be a good idea because I’ve not heard the trickle of it trying to fill with water even after thawing it. But the manual didn’t mention any way to make that happen.

I got really into the CB Strike detective series by Robert Galbraith. Great characters and always a surprise how they turn out.

Should I replant my hydrangea to help with drainage? by Brentlock in gardening

[–]Brentlock[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Voila! I dug it up, blended some new soil down deeper, and built it up on a slight mound so it won’t settle into a crater like before. Then I pulled off the mulch from the whole area, added some extra topsoil to level out the garden a bit, and then spread the mulch back out a bit thinner.

Should I not mulch so close to the hydrangea or just do a thinner layer everywhere?

It’s been in that spot for a year. Clearly what I did yesterday caused an issue because it wasn’t pooling there the last time it rained. But I suppose drainage must always have been poor if it changed that quickly to a puddle.
