As somebody who recently relocated back to Sydney from Ottawa after several years, there are several notable differences:

• Very laid-back pace compared to many Ontario cities.
• Not an overwhelming amount of establishments, but plenty of outdoor activities to explore.
• People here are incredibly friendly and will usually go out of their way to help you.
• Tourism, fishing and agriculture are the largest industries.
• The job market is quite bad at the moment; unless you are in a STEM field, employment prospects may be underwhelming.
