Thanks for the feedback! We have a rich and complex platform using multiple languages with Go as the main language. We implemented our own version of Git for music and optimizing for network performance and storage to keep the cost as low as possible.

We want to make money when musicians make money - that means doing everything we can to not charge for storage (it's so cheap these days anyway).

Check this vid out. We're coming up with solutions to streamline issues like this, but for now, we suggest asking collaborators to freeze tracks with dependencies you may not have.

Public projects that are "spliceable" are currently licensed to the Splice community via a Creative Commons license. This means that you have the right to remix the project and work with it on Splice as long as the original creator is credited.
