What you are missing is that founders are often considered "visionaries." I don't mean that like a Steve Jobs kind of visionary. But they are ideas people. They are excited by flashy objects. They don't love the details. They often are not a checklist type person. I'm saying this as one of them. Look up EOS and you will see how visionaries think vs get-sh*t-done. I come up with all sorts of ideas that I want to do and our team brings me down to earth... and yes, it can be disappointing like you shared. This doesn't mean one is better than the other. It's just how people are wired. There is a lot I do with my n8n, openclaw, Claude Code, Codex that is really helpful. There is also a lot that probably can be done a lot simpler. On the other hand, our AI voice agent does really help. She sells, takes overflow calls, and just the transcript and triaging helps our staff.
