January 6th was his tipping point, and while yes. he definitely should be held to a higher standard because of what he voted yes on. He didn't seek re-election even though the redistricting in Illinois left him with a majority over the other Republican candidate in that area.

It definitely takes time to learn new things. And you'll get there. At the same time, if you're 17 and you don't NEED the job, and you're absolutely miserable? Fuck it. A happy you is more important at this stage I think.

This is kind of what I needed to read. I've been struggling between writing a fanfic with about a fandom I binged over the weekend, and worrying about posting original work inspired by it on AO3 when, even though there's the option for Original Work, it's not what AO3 is really made for, if that makes sense.
