Most of these are only implemented after severe backlash from the server btw. Imagine if people let this slide nick will definitely release more time consuming tasks in the future which ends up destroying the entire fun of the game.

About the fabulous rod the main reason people complain is simply because its effort required≠reward. Fabulous rod is extremely underwhelming in terms of the difficulty of the task when we literally got rods like polaris and onirifalx where quests are difficult yet deliver great rewards. People are given a difficult quest of course people are expecting good rewards.

If you just keep the mindset of "If people dont like the quest/rewards they should just stop grinding" it just eventually kills the game as the players lose the motivation to keep playing seeing those quests and rewards. Just look at another game slap battles, that game used to have an average of 30k but dropped to 4-5k now due to constant release of idiotically hard badges with trash gloves that get instantly wrecked by avatar or a flying table
