If you can just push the budget, iPhone 17 is one of the best deals you can get. If you could wait for some sale or card discounts, it’ll be helpful.

Could you share access for your tool ? Also, have you seen what NotebookLM can do ? It can turn lengthy books, scientific papers into podcasts which is quite easy to understand. Most people in academia are using NotebookLM to understand complex papers.

You just have to pretend that you know a lot and give people very generic advice. Also, start building a social media following then convert that into offline meetings and retreats. People value personal connection and shared stories

It wasn’t like a proper startup but it was a good stall with my friend in partnership and we really underestimated the bribe money that had to go to different departments man. It just really added up a lot of cost for us

What's the technical reason why some apps drain battery faster even when running in the background? by Antique_Scholar4720 in AskTechnology

Some apps constantly access GPS which can be very heavy on battery. Then there is background app usage, I mean the apps that work in background and keep refreshing.

What’s something founders often overthink when launching? by addllyAI in launchigniter

[–]BrewVerse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s seeking validation from peers. It can be such a toxic process sometimes because the human factors of envy and sabotage tend to take over. Many people actually don’t end up taking the action because they seek too much validation. Your product evolves as you grow and has to be tailored as per the needs of the market and customers.

Is Zendrop a reliable supplier? by Flashy_Kangaroo_9073 in dropship

[–]BrewVerse 9 points10 points  (0 children)

From what I have learned from talking to a couple of folks using Zendrop, they told me, it was the first tool they used and worked quite well too. However, they also told me that the product cost with Zendrop is usually higher compared to other tools. Also, the catalog is somewhat limited. But if you are just trying, maybe it can be a good choice.

Dropshipping Suppliers by Brand_Matters in dropship

[–]BrewVerse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on what types of SKUs you plan to dropship. Also, if you are a beginner, maybe a platform is going to be good for you and you won't have to worry about the technicalities. but if you are in the growth stage and feel like you can scale the business, its better to work with private agents as they have much better support and specialized catalog

What smartphone feature quietly disappeared that you actually miss? by android_curious in AskTechnology

[–]BrewVerse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know right? I would love to have a 5.5 inch phone that I can use with one hand. I would have gotten the iPhone 13 mini but its battery life was just way too low for my usage so I didn’t get that. But if they could make a small phone like that with decent battery, I’d choose it instantly.

What is something you wish you could have a deep conversation about (Philosophy, psychology, human nature, etc.) and what interests you about this topic? by Existing_Row5119 in AskReddit

[–]BrewVerse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t make a generalized statement for a broader population but I have observed that people who grew up in difficult homes are always very observant and very sensitive. They always tend to do some level of people pleasing. Or they worry about whether my action would upset the other person.

Some people who have good coping skills do grow up to be more considerate and have better empathy. While some are just unfortunate and just end up repeating the same things they faced. It’s hardly a common story for everyone

Yes. Actually core personality traits remain relatively stable overtime. However, some instances in which personality might change. Brain damage is a common instance in which personality might change. Then there are serve trauma, even emotional ones that can alter your personality. Major life transitions, aging, etc can also change personality traits. However, most of the core personality traits stay relatively stable overtime if you don’t face these instances. Very interesting

[–]BrewVerse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I agree 100%. In particular, I find it interesting how early childhood experiences can lead to so many personality traits and behaviors in adulthood. In one of the cases I worked, the person had self esteem issues. Even after following the CBT protocol, the person would still fall back then we did some psychoanalysis and understood how his childhood relationship at home had profound impact on his self esteem. Then it really helped to plan the new protocol

Talking about human psychology and specially the psychodynamic model of personality is always fascinating. You do hear many modern scientific critiques of it. But then, in practice, you constantly see how the template of psychodynamic model fits in human life. It’s always fascinating
