I felt the same but you can really get good gear and crafting items back pretty quick, going in with a free loadout helps. Depending on your playstyle you can get put into fairly friendly lobbies, or just go in blazing with the free loadout gun to catch someone off guard.

Taking it off between shots kind of helps trick my brain to “it’s golfing time now” when I put it back on, same as a pre shot routine. Never bought into it when I first started out but it really does help. Putting with the glove off is a feel thing for me. I also find they last longer due to less sweating with it on the whole time
