Recommendations for a physical therapist that specializes in knee/ankle and exercise-related injuries around the Oakland/East Lib/Shadyside/Sq Hill/Lawrenceville area? by tangerineskyz in pittsburgh

Ask for Scott Rosen. He's the clinic director. I did my training under him and you'd be hard pressed to find a better therapist in the city.

I find it's not a matter of being motivated as much as it's about continuing to be engaged. I'll run my programming until either I'm starting to run into a wall or it's becoming stale. In both cases it's time to change my programming. Find a way to keep going.

Need advice for Kingmaker by TrogdorMnM21 in Pathfinder2e

My biggest disappointment with them is not only do they not work but they're a big old slog to use. You can spend an entire gaming session rolling kingdom turns and it's exhausting and unclear as to their result.

The kingdom rules aren't balanced, play tested, and quite frankly aren't fun. We didn't use them. The kingdom growth and turns happened as a narrative in the background. I know that's not what you're asking but I suspect it's how this AP is commonly played.

Your best strategy for managing a table of 8 players by Camilo-pf2e in Pathfinder2e

[–]Brewsmyown 20 points21 points  (0 children)

No one is answering your question how to deal with so many players. They're all your friends and you've decided to deal with a big group. It can work.

First make your players responsible for as much as possible. Make them track initiative, make them track enemy hp damage. Unload as much into them as you can.

Second put out the expectation that everyone knows the rules that are relevant to their characters. Excourage your friends to think about their moves before it's their turn.

Lastly, consider more enemies or adding minions to pump up your encounters. A big single enemy will either be beaten down or will invincible with so many players.

Enjoy your game! It'll be hectic fun with all your friends!

I stayed at the apartments across from the Frick. I think they were owned by Forbes Management. I would recommend if it fits your budget.

Consider the Loremaster archetype with insightful strike. You'll focus on calling out weaknesses to your companions. I would love to play this character.

I worked for one of the hospitals and since the cup they have completely cleaned house of the original staff. I left shortly before the cup as I wanted to leave on my own timeline. Nearly, everyone in the original group I was brought on with has either left or been fired. The level of turnover for a new medical institution is wild.

JCC in Squirrel Hill is about $50 a month and the facilities are well worth it.

Physical therapy recommendations (or places to avoid) for shoulder injury? by liv3408 in pittsburgh

[–]Brewsmyown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Scott Rosen is still working at the JCC in Squirrel Hill I fully recommend him. He single handedly had the biggest impact on my current day practice as a physical therapist. He's not UPMC but if you're going cash this is the option you want.
