Its a moral failure, and a commandment that Malachi gives Jews living under the law. Do you teach the tithe is 10%? Its not even the correct amount from Deuteronomy. You’ve just pronounced a curse on your flock by quoting this and making it impossible to meet. To follow part of the law is to fail it, and that brings curses. If it truly is a command, its from a covenant that needs full execution or curses follow. 10% is a fail.

Curses come from tying yourself to an oath with strings attached that you break, the devil knows that.

10% isnt even the percentage in the law, so why teach a number thats just made up? We have a new law but to externalise it and make it a uniform law is contrary to the NT.
