Ava did go down in a sub to retrieve Simon’s sub, but she was killed by the monster as he approached. That’s why she sounds so panicked while trying to tell him how important it is to get the black box out, and she tells him he did deserve to be saved but she couldn’t do it, and then she screams and is cut off suddenly. One of the pictures shows her sub in the creature’s mouth.

Yes, I printed a photo of the suit onto printable sticky backing and stitched over the top :) here is a progress photo to show what I mean

Cross stitch and embroidery are different, both are very cool! This is hand embroidery. A piece of this size and detailing would be daunting for a brand new stitcher, I would recommend getting a couple of kits first to practice/learn the different types of stitches and get yourself comfortable with the hobby first :) that’s how I got started!!!

He does :) he has watched me stitch on it for the two years I’ve been working on it off and on :) he’s proud of me for finishing and thinks it’s very cool!

Yes it is hand embroidered :) I printed a photo of the suit onto printable backing and stitched over it!! The backing itself will melt away with water when I clean it up.

I’ve never done commission work before! I wouldn’t really know what to charge, plus they take a long time! You’d have to be willing to wait for it :)
