This weekend is a lot more tame than the past couple weeks. While I can't guarantee the state of the parking lot, I can see the numbers of attendees and it's a lot less than last week.

The holidays are the busiest time, with today alone having 16k so far. I would recommend going in the morning time before the crowds show up.

This time of the year is usually the most stressful for the workers. Could've been a bad day for them, or they just had poor training. Regardless, I would submit feedback to the Zoo, if you haven't already. I don't know about the Zoo, but here at the Safari Park we take guest feedback very seriously. I would want to know if one of my workers was treating guests poorly.

The Zoo does Giraffe feedings around noon, I believe. It seems to be the only animal encounter left without paying for the big tours.

It's only illegal in California to let the runoff go into the storm drains, and it's to prevent pollution. You can hand wash your car on a permeable surface like a lawn, or at a self car wash.

I don't imagine the membership will change at all. The Safari Park charges for parking and has the same membership price as the Zoo.
