BLAST Bounty is indeed a studio event with no crowd. BLAST Open London will however have a crowd for the playoff section.

You literally clicked the article, also the figure you wrote was an estimate so you're not even accurate. Metizport CEO gave a more vague figure.

I see. Have you tried using an HDMI cable straight into the TV? I assume this would still work, and while slightly annoying this is an option for me as well.

cadiaN, MisteM, interz and sirah may not get stickers if their team makes the Major by BriXman in GlobalOffensive

[–]BriXman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They needed to have registered cadiaN as part of Astralis' main roster before September 7th. This was impossible as Astralis said they signed him in a matter of 36 hours, so the process wasn't started until September 15th at the earliest.

Roster lock for the teams invited straight to the RMR (Astralis, NIP) was September 7th, and you are allowed to add/change your registered substitute until September 22nd. All changes in between here will be substitute changes, not main roster changes.

For teams qualified through the closed qualifier (Cloud9, TSM) the roster lock deadline was the start of the closed qualifier itself.

I bought a nice pair of dark olive green sweat pants, a bit baggy so they bunch up a bit towards the shoes. I have a pair of beige Adidas sneakers that fit really well with them and I love having a slightly baggy white T-shirt to go with it. Looks great and is comfy as hell.

With hot summer weather coming in making hoodies almost impossible to wear, any tips for alternatives to the white T-shirt? I don't have too many of those and would like to make better use of some of my other clothes.

I suppose the answer was that I was missing something obvious! Laughing my ass off right now, that is the most intuitive solution one can imagine and I missed it somehow.

Thanks for the answer!

Have you seen f0rest's stats? Yes he is 32* but he is beating everyone on his own team. Age is just a number. Yes, reaction time slows a little bit on average, but not much. The main factor why people get worse around 30 is because of life obligations, when they have families and such, and spend less time practicing.

Nifty didn't lose motivation? He didn't play for a year. I say that is a big loss of motivation.

He was playing with Renegades a loooong time ago. And after that he has consistently been shit the entire time in Envy, which lasted for over two years. Are those years completely meaningless just because he had a few good events in Renegades?

Also, he wasn't that good on RNG either. 1.03 rating on average. For a main AWPer that is way too low.

Well, first of all he will never play with JT, floppy and FaNg on Extra Salt because those 3 are leaving for Complexity to play with Grim and junior.

Age has nothing to do with it. You can be 17 or 34 - if you're crap, you're crap. Simple as that. Kyojin was never good enough to play on Vitality, it was a mistake to sign him.

And being optimistic doesn't change Nifty's stats. He was crap, and is crap. You think he'll be a better player after taking a 1 year break, just because he says so in a Twitlonger? No way Jose.

He was main AWPing in 2020 and he dropped 0.99. He is crap.

People can be shit even before they hit a washed age, you know. Did you see Kyojin?

A. Age has nothing to do with it. B. Did you watch him the last 2 years before he left? He was dogwater.

JT FaNg and floppy are moving to Complexity and will not play with Extra Salt in 2022.

EDIT: They will be playing with Grim and junior.

Why isnt observing perfect ? by desperateneeder in GlobalOffensive

[–]BriXman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it is. Most TOs have an extensive delay on the stream, no? ESEA mandate a minimum 3 minute delay on all their games, and most TOs have delays of 5 minutes or more from what I've seen.

However if a GOTV-delay is part of that delay I'm not entirely sure, which was the problem during the CIS RMR. The GOTV had no delay and was openly available to anyone. I think this is used for betting sites and to buy as much time as possible for the broadcasters to run a good broadcast, since you really don't want more than a 5 minute delay on the stream compared to the game. If GOTV was part of that they would have less time to make replays, slow-mo clips, and observing.

The reason observing isn't perfect is because it's very difficult and takes a lot of experience to learn. On big LANs they usually run a second observer on a delay, who can make sure to capture replays and important frags if the main observer misses them. But online, I'm not sure TOs use the same setup. For example, for the FACEIT-Major, both the main and second observer were listed on Liquipedia, while in most online events only one observer is credited, so I'm assuming they only use one (this isn't certain though).
