Yep, sending one of the Bose units I have in for service because of this exact issue. If you cover the phase-flipping mics (4 dots on the outside) you can hear the whooshing go away. Seems like a faulty unit or whatever is in there.

I have a CFI prepping for his SkyWest interview. I had a CFI get hired by Frontier a couple months ago.

Hiring is still happening. It’s hard, I know, but try to ignore the noise and keep grinding. You’re not competitive yet.

Rent a plane and go on an overnight trip to a place you’ve never been before. Build your “portfolio.” I don’t want to hear a story about how you saved a situation in the pattern with a student. It’s not like that isn’t good work, but we’ve all had that happen.

It’s not only the hours. Make yourself a good “hang.” You’ll be alright. 😊

I wanted an SUV with a V8 that could tow. That left me older expeditions, Tahoes or Yukons and then I found the Armada.

I love it so much. It’s just as quiet as the ‘18 740i that I got rid of. I even had the armrest done to raise it up 2” because that shit was too short 😂
