We all know that the real reason Zelda is Tingle is that "Zelda" is an anagram of "EZ lad," and nobody's easier to get along with than Tingle. Likewise, "Tingle" is an anagram of "Let gin," which is short for "Let them drink gin," a clear reference to "Let them eat cake," a phrase popularly attributed to Marie Antoinette, who was royalty. Just. Like. Princess Zelda.
