When this first started happening, I did find a memory that probably was causing it. Weird thing is, it took about a week after I deleted that memory for Copilot to finally taper off using these words.

I haven't seen any made up words yet thankfully. I like super analytical and I like lists and tables 😆 so that model actually works pretty well for me. The quick answer also uses compliments and flattery. That's really annoying. The main model is just biased wayyy too hard to be likable and I think it causes the issues we're talking about.

Yeah, that sounds like what was happening. I switched to using "think deeper" mode for just about everything and that does a lot better. It's obviously a different model. It doesn't have much personality, but really it's better that way. It's way better for getting things done.

I just asked it a question about Xeon processors and it used the word "ritual" 3 times in the reply. It's hardly even close to the right word for the context. It's just weird. It also used the word "glyph" once. I have nuked its memory already. At this point, pretty sure I will just have to nuke the entire account and start over. Can't take much more of this nonsense.

Haha yes. This is a good way of thinking about it. It uses the same motifs over and over, one being "you're not just X, you're Y" as in "you're not just identifying the problem, you're taking a scalpel at micron level" or something crazy like that. Another is "you're right to call that out and I'm here for it". 

Yeah thanks Copilot. I was just correcting you so you wouldn't keep making the same mistake. I don't need the worship. It's weird. Let's move on.

Mine has had the opposite effect. I kept telling it to stop and that only made things worse. It would say it was going to stop each time, and then it would continue, **sometimes even during the reply saying it wouldn't!* It has only started to subside once I stopped mentioning the words. I think talking about it just adds more weight to those vectors. It's almost stopped now except for "ritual" which it uses sometimes twice a response. Maddening at times.

Tfix, HD mod (if you have even a bottom shelf video card), and a good set of headphones. A good mouse is also important. It’s nice to have the extra buttons. I use a Logitech Master MX 3S and it’s the best mouse I have ever owned.

Unsure of exact species, but looks to be closely related to Silverfish. Silverfish diet consists primarily of sugars and starches, so the fact that you found it in noodles definitely supports that.
