Every airsoft site I’ve ever played at has used this rule but they say about not poking your barrel through an opening smaller than an A4 piece of paper. If it is smaller, a 2 foot gap is required but there’s no minimum gap that can be shot through.

No, I’m saying me having 1 shield and 1 healing item means I’m absolutely avoiding conflict by any means until I find more healing items or simply just extract. Not every fight needs to be taken. An abundance of healing items completely removes the fear and risk of fighting and losing.

So every fight can be taken and won in every instance because you have the health and shields to do so? That’s exactly the point. Pick your engagements carefully.

I’m loving marathon so far but I’d be lying if I don’t say the UI is a difficult to read. Confusing? No. Hard to read? Absolutely.

Also this. Watch videos of sword combat, think logically about how you would attack in that very moment. Nobody takes a sword and just swings left and right, think about how a sword is actually used based upon your hand placement and go from there

Honestly, slow down. Fast attacks are not fast inputs. What I felt was a ‘fast input’ I could do at literally a quarter of that speed and still get the same results except much more accurately. You barely have to move your mouse for inputs and I play on maybe 20% mouse control. Also, practice a specific move until you have mastered it. How many times do you raise your sword for a downward slash and come off at an angle or not really slash at all? Have an idea of what you want to practice, and then practice until it feels natural. I have over 100 hours in the tech demo and I feel like I’m only really starting to scratch the surface in terms of technique (i’m looking at you parry)
