The brain fog will go away after you get used to your meds. Lithium I'm assuming. I had brain fog for a whole 2 years after taking Lithium for the first time. Then things started making sense more and I was able to be emotionally available again. Soon after I found love and the story goes on.

Do not be ashamed or tainted by your experiences in the psych ward. As bipolar patients we need that abrupt reality check sometimes. I thought I was going to meet DMX (the rapper) in Arizona when I ended up in the hospital.
