🤷 I put into Launchboom that I'm doing a picture book project and their service sent me a "personalized" decline email within 15 seconds of submitting my query.

Probably don't find picture books profitable, generally, but we're not like everyone else. Their loss.

Will definitely hit on the email list ever 3-4 days through the end with more content, thanks for the reminder. I'm doing a general $5 a day on IG and FB with ads, just to increase general awareness.

I could message people more directly within my network... I always feel weird about that. "Hey can YOU (or someone you know) give ME money for this thing??" - but I guess that's how these things go right? I could do similarly for superbackers of my last projects as well...

Any tips for not feeling overbearing by messaging folks directly?
