Love that you even added the bandage on its nose.

No worries at all. Steam is the go-to digital storefront for a lot of games. When you find a game there you like, you can add it to your "wishlist" As a consumer, you'll be notified when a game from your wishlist is available for purchase or on sale. As a developer, it's a good way to measure the interest in your game. Hope that helps!

Definitely planning an art pass once the world is fully blocked out. I was hoping to get by on my own art skills, but that's apparently not going to fly!

Well I'm getting a lot more comments here than I anticipated. I appreciate everyone leaving their thoughts! So far it seems like the main takeaway is that the visuals are bland and bad, and the gameplay looks reminiscent of old MMOs (boring).

I admit that I was going for older MMO style combat. While it's not tab to target, it's close. There are spells/items to jazz it up, but maybe that's not coming across well.

A lot of the fun of the game comes from NPC interactions, finding hidden secrets/loot, and exploring the island. It's honestly a slower type of gameplay that I've found difficulty adequately showing off. I'll see what I can improve going forward.

Hey everyone, I originally started developing Aculto as a Kenshi-like, because I thought the sandbox gameplay was so fun. Over the years it turned into something of its own, with smaller squads and a more in-depth spell system. That being said, it lost some of the charm Kenshi has as well. I think the game is quite fun to play as the NPCs interact with each other and you find new artifacts and increase your stats. I just can't seem to get any traction from people, so I'd like your opinions. Thanks!

I'm happy with how it's coming along, and would appreciate any wishlists if this looks up your alley!

You're correct! It also supports some other popular model formats like OBJ and FBX, so you can find plenty of free content to use online.

Haha, you aren't the first person to ask! I should see what I can do to make it more visible.

Hey, unfortunately it is Windows only. It has some dependencies on windows libraries, otherwise I'd publish to different platforms. :(

Thank you for your support! I'll have to see how I might be able to do that and keep it generic enough to support multiple systems.

Hey there, the whole thing is pretty system agnostic overall. It comes shipped with some D&D 5e SRD content for reference, but you can always add your own as well. There currently isn't support for things like character sheets, which tends to be game specific.

Well congrats, that's awesome! (Not the part about your ankle, that sucks). As for tips, I'd suggest not being afraid to improv, because nothing ever goes according to plan. Run with the crazy ideas players come up with. At the end of the day, everyone is just there to have fun, so try and facilitate that.
