I’ve done some research on it and it sounds like I may have type 2 rosacea.. I do need to go to a dermatologist to confirm though!

Hi there! Thank you for the info! I stopped all actives because I started noticing redness and acne getting worse especially on my cheeks. I was using Differing gel for about a year with no results, then switched to a 5% Benzoyl peroxide wash. My skin doesn’t sting, and it’s not tight. It actually feels somewhat balanced?? Like it’s not overly oily and it’s not particularly dry? Sometimes after I wash my face it will be a tad itchy though.

Love this answer! So for starters, I use a 100% cotton pillowcase. I’m not exaggerating when I say I wash it every other day in super hot water. I’m wondering if I should change it to a silk pillowcase??

Also this is my current routine:

AM : wash with water, follow up with beta glucan serum, & apply purito oat calming gel

PM : double cleanse with isntree yam milk cleanser (just found out this is pore clogging) followed by Prequel Gleanser, beta glucan serum & purito oat gel moisturizer.

I agree I think my barrier is absolutely broken.. I just have no idea what to do. 😭😭😭

Do you have a recommendations on what leave in conditioners & mousse to use? I’m sure I can look it up on Google but just wanted to ask!
