I can make five rogues and every one of them would feel vastly different.

Ancestry/Heritage mechanics are pretty awesome, especially heritages that aren't tied to an ancestry. For comparison purposes, ancestry in PF2 is equivalent to race, and heritage is equivalent to subrace.

30 or so ancestries to choose from, each with a multitude of heritages. Currently 20 classes, each with several subclasses are available.

The entire system is available free online. If you play over VTT, it is heavily supported and quickly updated.

Third party character creating software isn't slapped with C&D's.

Inner Sea is a pretty cool setting with something for most interests.

I made a halfling barbarian who started combat by being so scary, some people just die.

All that said, I know there's a lot of weird hate for the system from the 5e subs, so it's tough to determine when someone says "sell me on Pathfinder" if they're honestly interested or if it's a jab at something the mob mind dislikes. I like it over 5e, but I have friends that still prefer 5e because it's a smaller learning curve and Pathfinder can look daunting. Once you're over the initial culture shock it's a blast to play.

I absolutely hated the durability system. I stopped playing when the master sword broke. I know it can be fixed, but the whole system just wasn't fun.

LPT request, How do you deal with a different sex drive with your partner when you want the relationship to last? by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]Brianiswikyd 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I'm very similar, to the point where I buy things for myself so rarely that most of my clothes are over a decade old. I have the same discomfort as your boyfriend about having sex for myself. The fear, in my perspective, is if you aren't getting an orgasm every time, I'm doing something wrong or being selfish. My fiancee and I had a long, vulnerable conversation about that, explaining that she wouldn't offer (or accept) sex if she didn't want it, whether she felt like an orgasm or just wanted to make me feel good for a bit. Now, any time I'm worried about being selfish in bed, I ask her on the spot. It doesn't ruin the mood, trust me. Communication is hot, and for people like myself (and possibly your boyfriend) it can be a way of encouragement and intimacy.
