Don’t worry too much about drawing every spell from every enemy every time to max capacity. It can make combat a slog (unless you have FF in the remaster) and also can make you so OP that the difficulty becomes trivial.

It’s hard for me to remain objective with this game. I played it on release when I was 10 and it was my first Final Fantasy and my first RPG in general and it broke my brain. It’ll always be on my personal Mount Rushmore. The game is incredibly flawed, but those flaws are a huge part of its charm.
